For the past 30 years, his work has been based on the research of encounters and visual harmony, in colour and texture. He often works with triptychs, as a symbol of balance.

His analogue photos are never retouched.

Bellec works his artist’s eye instinctively and endeavours to unveil the poetic mystery hidden in the folds of the world around us. He tries to capture the sensuality of the details and crevices that he will flush out, divert, sublimate.

The colour treatment in patches, the vibration of shapes and the interaction of matters pace his research and express a sensitivity that often comes close to a painter’s palette.
